Elementary School "YES"

The school is run by Alternative Education Association "TAK" in Opole and it was established in 1990. Currently they have over 290 students in 16 classes and hire 60 teachers, including 11 foreign language teachers. The school was created by a group of alternative education enthusiasts as an innovative institution. The main goal of teachers is to support students’ self-esteem and provide a safe and friendly environment to study and develop. Staff always respect students’ opinions, their individuality and uniqueness. They promote collaborative learning without rivalry and they emphasise the role of formative assessment. Furthermore they support parents to complete the full pedagogical process.
